Today my little sister Hannah asked me to jump on the trampoline with her and when I came out to jump she was lying down so I ran up and said “Get Ready!!” Then the song came into my head “People get ready, Jesus is coming.” And I started to think about what that meant and the importance of being ready. The Bible said that no one (not even angels) know when Jesus will return. Therefore being ready TODAY is even more important. Also, there is EXCITEMENT in the fact that Jesus is coming. I mean think about it. The King who is so very in love and head over heels for US is returning to take us home with Him. I don’t know about you but that excites me and gets me stirred up. I wanna be with Him who loves me and I can’t wait for the day when I can see Him face to face. Not only for the excitement of Him coming back but we need to get others ready and get them excited. Why be selfish when God loves your friends too? And your family! So don’t keep it to yourself. Look for the opportunities to reach out and shower those around you with the love of Jesus so that they may know Him. Live your life in a way that GLORIFIES His name. All I can say to end this off is “People Get ready, JESUS is coming” and He wants to take you and those around you with Him. Don’t miss it!!!!
A princess doesn’t look for glory but treats herself for what she is, royalty, understanding that it was her Father who got her to that place. A princess is not positioned to be a queen until someone specifically places her there or until her time. She works up the honor in her preaparation season at the same time realizing that it’s in her blood.
“Dating is stupid. I hope my wife and I will just be great friends and then one day she just looks at me and is like, “Noel, come on. Let’s just get married.” And then we will. Right then.”—Noel Frederick Prince (via beliftedhighlord)
